Great news for the local community around Stanley Road📍🛣 Stanley Road whānau and those who use this road often - we've got a road status update for you ⬇️
🛠🚧 Work to construct a permanent repair on a section of Stanley Road is progressing really well (see image in comments) and we're expecting to have this project completed by Friday 5 April 2024, weather dependent 🤞🏽
We've some updates to the road closure + re-opening dates, so check out the below for all the deets you need:
✅ Stanley Road has temporarily re-opened in full. Road users are now temporarily able to use the road; however we urge all motorists to stay alert and drive with caution when passing through the site.
⛔️ The area directly around the site will then close again to all traffic next Wednesday, 20 March at 8am, reopening the following day on Thursday, 21 March at 5pm. From this time, the road will then operate under priority give way for approximately two weeks🔻
🚌 While these closures are in place, our contractor Tracks, will assist all students with controlled access in the mornings and in the afternoons to ensure they can continue to use the school bus near the site safely.
🔃 Detours - During the closure times, all traffic needing to access between #428-610 must access via Wainui Road, while anyone requiring access from #609A-1241 is to access from SH2 (Tāneatua end).
📨 You can register for updates on this work by emailing [email protected]
🙌🏽 We'll be in touch in the near future with confirmed details around the full re-opening date and time. Tēnā koutou i ngākaunui mai, thanks so much for your patience and understanding as we sort a permanent fix to this issue and get this road sorted for you. ... See MoreSee Less
